Gotta Try Forests In Every New Medium

Here are some results from my second go at screenprinting, three different versions:

I think they turned out okay, would be nice to do some additional colours at some point, such as blue and brown. . . There's six layers in total, so I'm rather surprised I actually got them to line up nicely on most prints.

Can you see the animals?

  1. I'd like to see a violet one...but I guess these are almost ok too....

And now seriously: They look really nice, and you have a rare talent for printmaking...But that you allready know.

  2. Thanks! I'd like to see a violet one too.

Printmaking is great, you get many many pictures, almost like cheating xD

    1. Of course it's cheating! No REAL artists use printmaking in their art...or illustration....or any other cool mediums. Then when you only use oil colours on expensive canvases on which you paint a dot and a line in an ugly tone of brown and flesh-ish pink and then you burn down the canvas and pee on it....THEN you can concider yourself a real Fine Artist!

    2. Yeah, I think you should consider hand drawing every Senja Opettaa book. . . (:<

    3. Oh but the Senja-project isn't art-related at all of course! It is simple doodle-making worthy an illustrator, NOT an artist!

    4. But through hand making you could make it into art! The making of them itself could be a performance!
