When it gets closer to Valentine's Day, you have a really really good reason to bake a cake, right? A good reason to test the "ready to roll" icings (or frostings) they sell over here. Well, the icing tasted like I thought it would. Like the white parts of Liquorice Allsorts. Quite nice, although nothing special in that way. Just a soft, sweet kneadable thing. It's like edible plasticine. That's actually really cool. I also love marzipan, the icing wasn't as grainy as that. A subtle difference, but I think the icing is easier to use (because of a handful of additives, obviously), but marzipan tastes better.
Anyway, back to the cake! It was filled with lemon curd and raspberries, and looked like this:

This morning it snowed really big fluffy flakes!

Damn. det där ser gott ut. fastän jag inte ens gillar marsipan, eller all sorts lakrits eller vad det heter. jag måste också baka någon dag. och den där dinon är stor konst. har inte ens gjort en snögubbe, fastän vi har haft istid i skövde ända sen januari. nu får jag allt börja ta i kapp !!! ! >:[
