Haven't written in ages, so here's a super suave smoking and (wine) sipping son (of a ladyraffe) for you. That's five s's
wow.
Reasons for not updating:
Minor: Laziness, Christmas break, busyness
The big one: I came down with a fever last friday (December 30th) and it's still there. It was on it's highest on New Year's Eve (of course) when it was a whopping 39,5 C, so I went to sleep at eleven p.m. (watched some Mr Bean first, it was really nice. I did wake to all the crackles and bangs of the fireworks at twelve, but I pretty much just turned over to the other side and fell asleep again.) I was staying at Roomie's then, and they took such great care of me, so thank you very much again. We were supposed to go to another friend's place to celebrate, but it turned out she also had a fever, so the party never took place.
My fever's stayed at 37,4 C since then. Too little to be alarmed, too much to be able to do much else than rest, and be bored and slightly stressed by the situation, since there are things I should get done before leaving to England. Hoping everyday that it'll go down: measuring in the morning - 37,2 - yay! Midmorning - 37,0 - WHOO this is it! Afternoon - 37,4 - Grrrr. . . Next morning 37,4 - oh, great.
Who knows, maybe I'm stuck with an ever-fever that'll last for weeks. Here I was hoping that I wouldn't need to be ill while traveling.
We'll see. Place your bets!
Oh, and hope the year has been nice for you this far! Yes, you over there.
wow.

ReplyDeleteOh, but the Apocalypse is in December, so we don't get another New Year's eve. . . :P
